This classical book features excerpts from James Baldwin's book If Beale Street Could Talk along with three supporting poems from authors of my choosing. I created type illustrations through image making to display these writings. My book is titled Love in Adversity as the excerpts that I chose from Baldwin's book highlight love prevailing through difficult times.
